I came across Professor Humphrey&#039;s credo a few years back, along with Jack Hoban&#039;s explanation of it.  It&#039;s a very powerful statement...  I&#039;ve got a copy of it posted in my cubicle at work.  I think it sums up what I SHOULD be professionally as a LEO more than any other statement I&#039;m aware of -- and does an incredible job of balancing confidence and security with aggression.</description>
